Wash the Malva nuts and soak it in water for 15 â?? 30 minutes. Remove the skin if you are to consume it for the purpose of relieving cough, sore throats, throat infections, et cetera. Otherwise, you can consume it along with the skin. If you do not like the taste of the skin, you may remove it too. Take 1-2 pieces and steep for 4-5 minutes in hot water. Honey may be added to sweeten the taste. As a perfect accent flavor, add 1 piece for brewing with other teas.
