NeoSAFE is a non-invasive diagnostic device for standardized assessment and monitoring of the newborn oral feeding ability. Feeding maturity is characterized as the coordination of sucking-swallow and respiration. NeoSAFE provides a method to assess this coordination maturity objectively and assesses the feeding ability of newborns by monitoring respiration and swallow activities of infants while utilizing two non-invasive probes attached to the baby during a feeding session. This solution utilizes the state-of-the-art signal processing and machine learning algorithms. So far, NeoSAFE has successfully completed the CE certification process with a clinical safety report (CSR) and two clinical studies. Besides that, NeoSAFE has been funded by EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument twice in a row
