Non pharmacological Uses It is used as Calcium-rich dietary supplements of caged birds, chinchillas, hermit crabs, snails, and turtles. (Norman & Reid, 2000). It have its importance in mold-making material for small metal casting for the creation of jewelry and small sculptural objects and also as polishing agent. It can be used as metal adsorbent of low cost.(You-Zhi, et al., 2010). Cuttlebone was proved to be a biomass for new reinforcing filler for natural rubber.
