Compostable bags are made from renewable natural resources such as vegetable oil, starch (e.g. corn, potato, tapioca etc), cellulose, soy protein, lactic acid, microbiota, etc. These bags decompose back into carbon dioxide, water, biomass etc. I.e. if disposed off in the wet waste fraction, these bags are converted into fertile and useful compost. It is 100% free from petroleum made plastic. They maintain the look, feel and functionality of traditional plastic bags.
