Quinoa is an annual, dicotyledonous food plant that usually reaches a height of 1 to 3 m. The leaves are broad and polymorphic (different shapes on the same plant). The central stem comprises lobed and brittle leaves. The stem may or may not have branches, depending on the variety or density of the planting. The flowers are small and lack petals. They are hermaphrodites and are usually self-fertilized. Quinua Blanca Quinua Roja Quinua Negra Quinua Tricolor
