1. Rice characteristics:
Appearance: has long and extra thin (possibly Vietnamese thinnest rice variety) shape with translucent white color. New / fresh crop has fragrant scent.
After cooked: the rice is soft, a little bit sticky together with fragrant smell.
2. Number of crops per year: 3 (Feb to April - Winter Spring, June to August - Summer Autumn and November to December - Autumn Winter).
3. Growing areas: Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and some other provinces in the Mekong Delta.
