Application note:
GLR-20 resin can be used as a methylene acceptor binder in the m-methyl-white system, which can completely replace the resorcinol monomer. Adhesion is produced by reaction with a methylene donor for adhesion of rubber to matrix materials; GLR-20 resin can also be used as an additive for phenolic resins to reduce processing time and reduce processing temperatures. Applications include: production of sandpaper, grinding wheels, clutch materials, plywood adhesives, etc.
