We harvest hardwood Sekelbos trees in the North-West Province of South Africa. This area
is commonly referred to as the Bosveld. The tree is classified as an invasive species. The trees
are harvested and cut into logs where it is left to dry in the hot African sun for at least six
weeks before being packed and shipped.
Trees are normally twisted and long pieces have to be especially selected and cut.
