4-Chloro-3,5-dimethyl is a white crystalline powder. Melting point 115-116 C, boiling point 246 C. At 20 C, 1g can be dissolved in 3L water, 1 part of 95% alcohol, ether, benzene, terpenes, non-volatile oils. It has a slight smell and can volatilize with water vapor. Stable in hot water.
