This polymer is a molecule of the same long, heavy chains composed of identical, water-soluble fragments. This polymer dissolves in the form of long fiber-like fibers in water and is one of the newest additives for drilling fluid. This material encloses the wells drilled in the well wall in the form of cages and covers them in accumulations, preventing them from dissolving and overheating in the drilling fluid. This material is more for the stability of active shales in the fluids. The blue base used is PHPA, part of a recycled acrylamide polymer that is used to stabilize shale formations in wells or to disperse bentonite in light fluids.

CMC, in food applications, is a good emulsion stabilizer, thickener, and has excellent freeze, melt stability, can improve product flavor and prolong storage time.


A. Function of CMC in the food industry:

1. Thickening: CMC can produce high viscosity at low concentration. It also acts as lubricant.

Anionic polyacrylamide

Polyacrylamide is, simply called PAM, a water- soluble high polymer and widely used in petroleum, paper-making, metallurgical, textile, chemical and environment protection fields. There are three categories of anionic, cationic and non-ionic type.

Application introduction
PAM series products contain affinity radical and they can dissolve in water easily and play the role of flocculation, filtering-assist, increasing adherence, reducing resistance, coherence, reinforcing and rheologic regulation and can be used extensively. Flocculation property can be used for recovering solid substance, treating various industrial sewage, domestic sewage and purifying water, assisting filtering, treatment of tail coal as well as well-drilling slurry material etc. With the rheologic regulation function PAM can thicken water recover driving agent for oil field to reform ground section, enhance adoption ratio. It can make up fracturing solution to fracture the stratum which is difficult to drill and it also can make up well-drilling solution which can reduce friction and resistance, accelerate drilling speed, improve drilling depth. With the property of adherence and reinforcing of PAM, it can be used for paper-making industry to enhance staying rate of filling material, speed size filterability and white water sediment in the paper and then coagulate to increase the strength of the paper. PAM can be used with polyvinyl alcohol as textile size, this can improve textile process and enhance the property of textile.

Usage
When use PAM series products, first make up dilute solution, usually 0.01%-0.1%,thus it is easy to mix with treated substance to get the best result. When make up dilute solution, try best to use water that is neutral or doesnf+t contain metallic salt. When make up solution, usually the temperature is between 50-60fª. When used as paper-making staying-assist agent, density couldnf+t be too high, other-wise the paper size will appear flocculation, usually it is between 100-300 PPM. When used as flocculation agent it is necessary to select type and size of PAM series products according to PH value of treated substance. =+ Anionic PAM is suitable for higher density, inorganic suspension substance with positive charge and PH value is neutral of basic solution with thick suspension particles 1mm-10mm. Non-ionic PAM is suitable for separating mixed organic and inorganic suspension, the solution is neutral or acid. Cationic PAM is suitable for suspension solution with negative charge and containing organic substance.

This product is a quaternary cationic polymer which is specialized product for decoloring, flocculating, cod decreasing and other applications.
Application field
1. It is mainly used for color removal treatment for high-colority waste water from dyestuffs plants. It is suitable to treat waste water with activated, acidic and disperse dyestuffs.
2. It can also be used to treat waste water from textile industry and dye houses, pigment industry, printing ink industry and paper industry.
3. It also can be used in the production process of paper & pulp as retention agent.

Application methods
1. The product shall be diluted with 10-40 times water and then dosed into the waste water directly. After being mixed for several minutes, it can be precipitated or air-floated to become clear water.
2. The ph value of the waste water should be adjusted to 7-10 for better result.
3. When the colority and cod are relatively high, it can be used with the help of polyaluminum chloride, but not mixed together. In this way, the treatment cost can be lowered. Whether polyaluminum chloride is used beforewards or afterwards depends on the flocculation test and the treatment process.
Package and storage
1. It is harmless, no-flammable and non-explosive, it can be stored at room temperature, it can not be placed in the sun.
2. It is packaged in plastic drums with each containing 25kg, 50kg, 250kg and 1250kg.
