-White Charcoal, also known as Binchotan, is a type of hardwood charcoal that has traditionally been produced in Japan. It is called White charcoal because of its light color and unique benefits that create economic value compared to traditional black charcoal. -Binchotan is the purest charcoal on earth by the highest carbon proportion (more than 92%) and is completely odorless, and smokeless when burning. The lap joint flange has two components, one stub end, and loose backing flange. The end piece is welded end to end to the pipe and the support flange moves freely on the pipe. The support flange may be of different material from the stub material and normally of carbon steel to save cost. The cover flange is used when frequent disassembling is required, and space is limited. The flange of the lap joint is almost identical to a slip-on flange, except that it has a radius at the intersection of the bore and flange face. These flanges are nearly identical to a Slip On flange with the exception of a radius at the intersection of the flange face and the bore to accommodate the flanged portion of the Stub End. The lap joint flange is practically identical to a slip-on flange except it has a radius at the intersection of the bore and flange face. This radius is necessary to have the flange accommodate a lap joint stub end. Normally, a lap joint flange and a lap joint stub end are mated together is an assembly system. Waste Specification: European Classification: E46 EWC Code: 19.01.02 Basel Code: B10 10 The material is loose steel scrap processed through an incinerating plant for domestic waste followed by magnetic separation, fragmentized into pieces and consisting partly of tin coated steel cans. At a visual inspection, the material is fragmentized, with iron and steel parts, resulting partly cut or in shredded form. The stock appears heterogeneous and contains all kind of cut or dismantled steel parts such as sheets, bars, frames, wires, bolts and other iron/steel household residues. The incinerated scrap is eventually oxidized, due to the thermal and cooling treatments, that the material has been submitted to. The burnt scrap also contains minor slag parts, ash and iron oxide, due to the recovery process. Such components are inherent and adhere to the scrap surface. The total impurities, can be sorted, but not fully removed. The consignment does not contain any type of arms, ammunition, mines, shells, cartridges, radioactive contaminated, or any other explosive material in any form either used or otherwise. The collected stock, is stored in open air, on cemented flooring. Due to the scrap dimensions and the material conditions, this particular scrap, should be carefully evaluated first, by the end users, to confirm its adequate recovery ratio and its suitability to be re-melted in the electric arc furnace. Lap joint flanges feature a flat face and are always used in conjunction with a stub end. Lap joint flanges resemble, in shape, slip-on flanges except for the radius at the crossing of the flange face and the bore to accommodate the flanged portion of the stub end. A lap joint flange slips over the pipe and seats on the back of the stub end and the two are kept together by the pressure of the bolts. The use of lap joint flanges in combination with stub ends is a cost-effective solution for stainless steel or nickel alloy pipelines, as the material of the lap joint flange can be of a lower grade (generally carbon steel) than the material of the stub end (which has to match the pipe grade, as in contact with the conveyed fluid). This arrangement, therefore, has these two advantages: reduces the overall cost of the pipelines flanged joints, as the use of higher grade materials is minimized; bolting operations are simplified, as the lap joint flange can be rotated around the pipe to help with bolts alignment.
Lap joint face is used on lap joint flange. It looks similar to flat face flange but has a groove in the bore for mating stub end. Lap joint face has a small contact area for the sealing element providing good gasket compression under low bolt loading. The groove slot acts like an oring groove and provide a good containment means for the gasket. This is ideal under high pressure application.
