Ethylene Oxide (C2H4O)
The ETO is a general purpose sensor, primarily developed for monitoring Ethylene Oxide but also capable of measuring other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Our toxic evaluation board allows easy adjustment of the bias voltage to optimise this sensor for the required application.

MEG is a clear, colourless, virtually odourless, and slightly viscous liquid. It is miscible with water, alcohols, and many organic compounds, and has the molecular formula C2H6O2, CAS: 107-21-1. It has a specific gravity of 1.115 and a flash point of 110°C.
Application: It is an important raw material for industrial applications. MEG is utilized in the manufacture of polyester (PET) resins, films, fibers, antifreezes, coolants, aircraft anti-icer and deicers and solvents.
It is also utilized as raw material for paper industry, polyester Resins, adhesives and inks, chemical Intermediates, Heat Transfer, Fluids.

While most commercially produced ethylene is used as a feedstock in the production of polymers and industrial chemicals, a relatively small amount is used for the controlled ripening of citrus fruits, tomatoes, bananas and many other fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Ethylene glycol/MEG is also known as ethylene glycol, 1, 2-ethylenediol, or EG for short. Chemical formula is (CH2OH)2, is the simplest dihydric alcohol. Glycol is colorless, odorless, sweet liquid, low toxicity to animals, glycol can be mutually soluble with water, but in the ether class solubility is small. Used as solvent, antifreeze and synthetic polyester raw materials. The polymer of ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol (PEG), is a phase transfer catalyst and is also used in cell fusion.

Ethylene Glycol is an important organic compound with the chemical formula CHO, commonly known as ethane-1,2-diol. It is a colorless, odorless, and sweet-tasting viscous liquid. Due to its unique properties, ethylene glycol is widely utilized across various industries.

Due to its low molecular weight, lively nature, can play esterification / etherification / Aging / oxide / acetal / dehydration reaction.
Similar to ethanol, can generate major inorganic or organic acid ester, generally the first and only one hydroxyl group reacts by increasing the temperature, increasing the amount of acid, etc., can make two hydroxyl groups to form an ester. Ethylene urea serves mainly as a formaldehyde scavenger and chemical building block. Apart from the textile industry it is used in construction and coatings industry applications.
