Compact structure, low power, high efficiency of overhead eccentric stirring equipment
Stirring equipment is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgical, and papermaking industries for mixing, heat transfer, and anti-sedimentation functions. Conventional overhead propeller agitators typically require high power and high rotational speed to achieve the desired mixing effect, which in turn demands increased structural strength for the support frame, drive shaft, and blades, resulting in higher power consumption.
Our company has developed and optimized a high-efficiency eccentric agitator based on the conventional turbine agitator, combined with CAD three-dimensional design and overhead eccentric installation. This design prevents the formation of a "cylindrical rotating zone" near the agitator. With the mixing center offset from the vessel center, the material flow experiences different pressures at various points within the tank, enhancing relative motion between liquid layers and increasing turbulence, thereby achieving highly efficient mixing. This novel agitator achieves excellent mixing results while using a significantly lower power motor â?? the motor power is only one-third to one-fifth that of conventional agitators.
Application Example:
In the starch sugar industry, a saccharification tank with a volume of approximately 80 m³ typically requires a mixing power of over 5.5 kW with conventional agitator design. With our high-efficiency eccentric agitator, the required motor power for the same tank volume and material is only 1.1â??1.5 kW.
The eccentric distance is calculated based on the specific material properties.
This agitator features a compact structure, extremely low failure rate, low power consumption, and simple, convenient maintenance, making it suitable for continuous production line operations.
Key Features: Compact structure, low power consumption, and high efficiency overhead eccentric agitator design.
