Description The Trusted communication interfaces provide the Trusted controller with an intelligent communication interfaces which act as a relay between the Trusted processor and other systems, i.e. the engineering workstation (EWS) and third party systems. This minimizes communications loading of the Trusted processor. The module has a Motorola 600 series processor and MPC106 PCI bridge/memory controller, its associated memory and glue logic. There is also a site for a PCI mezzanine card for future expansion. The module communicates with the Trusted processor via the triplicated inter-module bus (IMB).
