SOFTOMNI 2000 is added as such (can be diluted with water to the maximum extent of 1:3 ratio) in the thick stock by diaphragm type of dosing pump. Addition of SOFTOMNI 2000 before filler is preferable to get best sizing effect. The efficiency of ALKYL KETENE DIMER depends on the retention and drainage aid program. The higher the drainage, first pass retention and first pass ash retention, optimum is the efficiency of AKD.
