Coco Peat is one of the gifts of nature, which is enriched with the supreme qualities to support and grow plants. We also fortify it, by adding various nutrients to it and make it as a professional substrate - growing media. Coir fiber pith or coir peat dust can hold higher quantities of moisture, just like a sponge. Coco peat is one of the best soil conditioners. We extract coir pith which is extracted from the dehusking of coconut. Our Saple Coco peat is a pre nourished mix of coir fine dust, standard washed, coarse and fibrous materials are compressed into coir pith blocks.
Coir Pith or Coco Peat is the byproduct extracted from the coconut husk after the fiber is removed. A product that was once burned as waste material, is used as a major component in potting soil due to it is high water and nutrient retention capacity, while also providing optimum aeration for the plants. The use of Coco peat has extensively grown over the past two decades as it is much more environmentally friendly than its alternative, the black peat. The main benefit of using coir pith is that it can be used in any type of soil as a soil conditioner or a growing medium. Coir pith has a fibrous nature so it breaks the clay chunks into smaller fragments thus enhancing aeration of the soil, making it suitable for free drainage and more friable. You can also use in the sandy soils or light soils which do not retain water easily. The sponge-like nature of the coir pith makes it ideal for holding large quantities of water as well as oxygen in the soil thereby preventing the vital nutrients of the soil from leaching out. Coco Pith is available as an uncompressed loose packed, 650 Grams

Coco coir/peat is a multi-purpose soil conditioner and growing medium. It is consistent and uniform in texture. It is a completely homogenous material composed of millions of capillary micro-sponges that absorb and hold up to eight times of its own weight in water. The natural pH of 5.7 to 6.5, plus an unusually high cation exchange capacity - and 27% of Easily Available Water assures that coir will hold and release nutrients in solution over extended periods without re-watering.
