The species of plant that is used for oil extraction is known as Jatropha Curcas. Since jatropha crucas is very toxic they are not consumed by humans and other living things. The main goal of cultivating jatropha all over the world is to extract oil from the seeds which is used as an alternative energy source. Jatropha oil extraction methods have also gained the same importance like jatropha cultivation. Since the oil extracted from jatropha seeds is the primary source for bio-fuel, the process of extraction methods have also become significant. The oil extracted from the seeds is processed to prepare high quality bio-fuel an alternative source that can be used in diesel car. It creates no environmental pollution and little make-up water will be needed. The water pond for each unit of 200kw plant only covers about 50m2 .The engines group and electrical equipments should be put indoors, and the other equipments could be put outdoors. The construction area for each 200kw generator set is approximately 40~50m2. The full set of equipment consumes only 5~8% of the generated power. Therefore, such a project is an ideal one with significant benefits for the area where there is a lot of discarded biomass resources but lack in electric power supply or with higher electricity expense. In general, the investment in the major equipment can be recovered from power generation benefits within the first two years.
