Indonesia is the world's top producer of coconuts. In 2021, it was estimated that Indonesia produced around 2.77 million tons of coconut with it's derivative products such as Crude Coconut Oil (CNO), Cooking Oil (RBD CNO), Copra, Coconut Briquette Charcoal, Coconut Fiber, Coconut Peat (Cocopeat / Coco Peat), Desiccated Coconut, Virgin Coconut Oil, and Copra Meal. Coco Peat is natural fiber made out of coconut husks. The extraction of coconut fiber from husks gives us this byproduct called coco-peat, which is a 100% natural growing medium. It is naturally anti-fungal, making it an excellent choice to start seed but it is also used in rugs, ropes, brushes, and as stuffing. Cocopeat gardening is also used as a soil amendment, potting mix, and in hydroponic production. Our Compressed Coir Pith Product came from the best coconut coir material with strict quality control according to international client standard.

Cocopeat is a by-product of processing coconut fiber which is used to save up to 50% of fertilizer on plants. Cocopeat has the ability to absorb and store water up to 300% more than the capacity of the land, this makes the fertilizer given to plants not easily eroded by water during watering or reduces the possibility of being washed away when it rains. Cocopeat also contains trichoderma molds, a type of enzyme from fungi that can reduce disease in the soil, keep the soil loose, fertile, and make it easier for new roots to grow quickly and thickly.
Coco peat increases the porosity of the potting mix. This helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. Better root growth results in better plant growth and higher yield. Coco peat increases the water holding capacity of the potting mix even as it increases the porosity of the soil. This ensures that the plant does not suffer from overwatering or under watering. Unlike peat, coco peat is easy to rewet. Dry coco peat is very hydrophilic and quickly absorbs water making it easy to use. Coco peat contains natural trichoderma which acts as a Bio agent against harmful pathogens. It provides a great environment for beneficial fungi and bacteria to grow.
Made from the husks of coconuts, coco peat is beneficial for soil amendments. Our high-quality coco peat is useful for plant growers, being far better than peat moss, and is an alternative to peat moss. Having increased the water retention, it doesn't let plants suffer from overwatering as well as underwatering.
