The primary use of Ammonium Sulphate is as a fertilizer for alkaline soils. In the soil the ammonium ion is released and forms a small amount of acid, lowering the pH balance of the soil, while contributing essential nitrogen for plant growth. The main disadvantage to the use of Ammonium Sulphate is its low nitrogen content relative to Ammonium Nitrate, which elevates transportation costs. It is also used as an agricultural spray adjuvant for water soluble insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. There it functions to bind iron and calcium cations that are present in both well water and plant cells. It is particularly effective as an adjuvant for 2,4-D (amine), glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.

Coco peat, also known as coir pith or coir dust, is a versatile material that is derived from the fibrous, spongy material found within the coconut husk. This lightweight, non-fibrous, and corky material is ideal for a variety of uses, including as a soil amendment, potting mix, hydroponic medium, and for starting seeds. Our coco peat is of high quality and comes in various grades, including low EC (
Coco peat increases the porosity of the potting mix. This helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. Better root growth results in better plant growth and higher yield. Coco peat increases the water holding capacity of the potting mix even as it increases the porosity of the soil. This ensures that the plant does not suffer from overwatering or under watering. Unlike peat, coco peat is easy to rewet. Dry coco peat is very hydrophilic and quickly absorbs water making it easy to use. Coco peat contains natural trichoderma which acts as a Bio agent against harmful pathogens. It provides a great environment for beneficial fungi and bacteria to grow.
Made from the husks of coconuts, coco peat is beneficial for soil amendments. Our high-quality coco peat is useful for plant growers, being far better than peat moss, and is an alternative to peat moss. Having increased the water retention, it doesn't let plants suffer from overwatering as well as underwatering. The coir fibres that are extracted from the inner layer of the outer part of the coir husk are used in large scale production of the ropes, mattresses and brushes. Coir fibre is also the main product used in manufacturing the geotextiles. Geotextiles have a wide range of uses. But it is mainly used in limiting the soil erosion. Soil erosion has become one of the most prevalent problems of our society. Although there are various methods for limiting it but the erosion can be successfully kept in check by the use of geotextiles. Moreover, the geotextiles are also used in various types of road works and for surrounding the dams.
Coir needled felt mats are non-woven mats made from 100% coir fibre. The fibre is selected, dried and then weaved in the needle felt machine for required thickness. Then the needle is punched to achieve the desired degree of compaction. The fibre is bonded to form long sheets. Needled felt mats have excellent moisture absorption capacity and water retention characteristics. It is an ideal medium for plant growth. It is also used for lawn development and landscaping.
