Areca palm leaf plates are eco-friendly disposable plates made from the fallen leaves of the areca palm tree. These plates are a sustainable alternative to plastic and paper plates, as they are biodegradable and compostable. The leaves are collected, soaked in water, and then heat-pressed into various shapes and sizes of plates, bowls, and trays. Areca palm leaf plates are sturdy, leak-proof, and can hold hot and cold food items. They are also microwave and freezer safe. These plates are becoming increasingly popular for use in events, parties, weddings, and other occasions where disposable plates are needed.
Areca leaf plates are made from the naturally shed leaf sheaths of Areca Nut Tree. The areca leaves are simply collected, pressure washed, scrubbed, sun dried and then with the application of heat and pressure formed into appropriate shaped plates. (1) Eco-friendly, 100% Bio-degradable and Compostable. (2) No chopping down of trees, fallen leaves are collected and turned to VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS. Waste to Wealth Concept. (3) No Chemicals, Bleaching, PE (Poly Ethylene) Coating, Wax Coating at any stage. (4) Light weight, Sturdy and Non-crushable. (5) Holds liquid items for 4 hours without leakage. Good for hot, wet and cold food items. (6) Food plates thrown after eating will be naturally degraded within 60 days of time like any plant matter. (7) Manufacturing waste of Areca sheaths will be used for vermin compost, dry fodder for animals, bio-fuel bricks. (8) Will increase work efficiency and resource optimization: Using Areca ware will save water and human efforts to wash.
