Today also artists perform the work with all the inherited skills from the ancestors. These artists first carve the design on the wooden blocks with their fine tolls. Later using the natural and chemical dyes they print the motif on the fabric. Dots are used to make up the designs. A different colour on either side is also practiced by the craftsmen.
