The chemical composition of the rails is as follows:
Standard: Used rails (100%): R50 & R 65 = 51,67 kg/ml, and 64,72 kg/ml,
Rails scrap/railroad ferrous scrap (R 50 & R 65) chemical composition shall be according to:
C: 0.54 - 0.82 %
Mn: 0.60 - 1.05%
Si: 0.18 - 0.40 %
P: max. 0.035%
S: max. 0.04%
As: max. 0.01% of mass share;
Iron balance
2. The rails must be free of contamination, radiation and explosives.
