Cedarwood Oil is obtained from the Cedrus deodara which is a member of the Pine family. It is obtained using the steam distillation method. Usually, the color of cedarwood essential oil can be Yellow to brown liquid. The calming and soothing scents of this essential oil are floral, woody, fruity, herbaceous, camphoraceous, citrus, pungent, Spicy, Resinous, Earthy. It is beneficial for: Cedarwood oil has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This may make it beneficial for skin conditions like scars and acne. One case study indicated that the addition of cedarwood essential oil to traditional acne treatments was helpful for alleviating and reducing stubborn breakouts. How to use: Try using cedarwood essential oil as an acne treatment by adding 2-3 drops to 5 teaspoons of a carrier oil and applying it to your skin for 20 minutes once or twice a week.
