Passion fruit is tropical, subtropical fruit; Passion fruit are grown popular in highland central of Vietnam, Daklak, GiaLai, Daknong, Lam Dong. Most popular type of passion is purple skin, round shape, 8-10cm diameter.
The flavor of passion fruit is astringent and refreshingly tart when the fruit is fresh, becomes sweeter and more complex as the fruit ripens. Its flavor can be compared with citrus, melon, pineapple, and kiwi. When overripe, the pulp can take on a richly complex, almost fermented flavor. The flesh is jellylike and can be scooped out and eaten with a spoon. The seeds have a slight crunch to them, but they're easy to eat and don't need to be removed.

Passion fruit is a type of berry which is sweet-sour, highly aromatic and
seedy. It has varieties from purple passion fruit to yellow and golden
one and also hybrids like the Kavery.
There are two main varieties: a purple-fruited type, P. edulis f. edulis,
and the yellow-fruited P. edulis f. flavicarpa.
They are packed as pre packs in polythene bags or loose in cartons a
per customer specification. The product can be packed either as green
or red or a mix of both, and is packed either as pre pack or loose-pack
in a polyethylene bag or cardboard box depending on client's needs

Passion fruit features round to oval shape, 4 to 8 centimeters in diameter, have a tough outer shell (rind) as that of in mangosteen. Average weight is about 35-50 g. Inside, the fruit consists of membranous sacs containing light orange color, thick juice with numerous small, hard, dark-brown or black, pitted seeds.
