Bitumen grade 70/60 is a grade of standard penetrating bitumen and is one of the most widely used bitumen types in the world. This type of bitumen is used as a material for paving roads. This exported bitumen is known as medium-grade bitumen for road construction and asphalt pavement production with superior properties and is used for construction projects. This grade of bitumen is mainly used in making hot asphalt as a mixture of bitumen and stone materials. The degree of bitumen 70/60 is determined by the penetration test and softening in a certain period of time. As you have noticed, the penetration degree is determined by the penetration test. Only performance parameters such as adhesion, rheology, durability and tolerance of a certain temperature can determine bitumen grading.
