Plant Capacity- 8000 barrels/day Major Equipment- Flare Stack, RTRP Pipe, Duplex SS Pipe, Reciprocating Pump, Filter Feed Pump, Chemical Injection Skid, Flare Seal Vessel, Separator Vessel, Surge Vessel, Drain Vessel, 440V Switchboard, Diesel Generator, Distribution Board, Cables, Local Control Stations, Motor Operated Valves (Actuators), MOV Local Isolator, 440V Motors, 110V DC Supply Unit Process Description- The Water Injection Pilot is required to study the performance of Dharif Reservoir under water flood. The pilot will be located in Dharif field. The source water well will be located approximately 1.5 Km from the pilot plant. The pilot plant will mainly comprise of variable speed electro-submersible pump unit installed in source well (by others), 2 phase water / gas separator, drain vessels booster pumps, surge vessel, HP injection pumps, filtration plant for water quality maintenance, chemical injection skids for scale, corrosion oxygen and biocide control as well as for filtration aids, water transmission lines, guard filters, associated piping, instrumentation and controls, power generation auxiliaries and other utilities including air assisted flare system. The submersible pump installed in the source well will bring up the 4th sand reservoir aquifer water at about 375 psig pressure and flow it to the pilot plant, where water will pass through a 2 phase water / gas separator, filtration package (deep bed media filters), surge vessel and guard filter before the injection well head. The filtration system shall eliminate the particles higher than 1 micron before it is flowed into injection pump units. The pumping facility will be suitable to pump out water at flow rate up to 8000 BWPD at pressure ranging from 3000 psig to 6000 psig at the injection well head. Booster pumps will take suction from the 2 phase separator and pump the water through the filters to the Break tank from where the HP injection pumps will pump it to the injector well. The water pumped by the HP pumping facilities will then flow through a 4" dia. flow line to the injection well, Flow and pressure variation is achieved by the variable speed drive controller of the HP Injection pumps.
