Lemongrass or lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a plant belonging to the grass tribe which is used as a spice in the kitchen to scent food. Lemongrass in English is known as Lemongrass. This plant is commonly grown as a spice and medicinal plant

Lemongrass grows in clumps forming big waves. This fragrant plant is cultivated in yards, fields, and between other plants. This plant is divided into two groups, namely lemongrass or citronella (Cymbopogon citratus DC) and citronella or citronella (Cymbopogon nardus DC). Flowering time from January to December.
