MV power cable are rated up to 18/30 (36) kV and manly used in MV distribution network. The conductors are copper or aluminium , mostly compacted stranded to shape round insulated core. Their size range from 25 up to 630 sq mm per core and 3 insulated corer are laid up to assembly a cable. Any cable prtections may be applied , including construction and material for direct burial , longitudinal and /or water tightness, anti termite and fire safety.
