Transformers:
This crepe paper is used as an insulation in manufacture of oil cooled transformers, current transformers of types imb, ct, cvt, etc. As leads and shields. This crepe paper has 300% more strength in mechanical and cross mechanical directions and hence is more resistant to breakage. It can also take various shapes of the surface being insulated. Crepe paper also has greater surface area which helps to retain more oil and hence lowers the working temperature of the transformer.
Crepe paper covered copper conductors for transformers:
This crepe paper is used to cover copper conductors having various cross sectional shapes. This paper is used to cover copper conductors bent at an angle of 180o. As a result this insulation will not break or tear or crack compared to plain kraft paper insulation.
Availability:
The base kraft paper thicknesses on which creping is done are 1.5mil (40microns), 2.0mil (50 microns), 2.5mil (65 microns), 3.0mil (75 microns), 4mil (100 microns), 5.0mil (125 microns).
Thickness above 5 mil can be provided as per customer’s requirement. The elongation can be supplied as per specification from 10% up to 300 %.
This crepe paper can be supplied in jumbo rolls of 1000mm (1 meter) width or in slitted pads as per customer requirements.
Another major component manufactured from crepe paper is flexible crepe paper tubes. These tubes are used as sleeves for interconnection of terminals. This is a time saving product, extremely easy to use. These flexible crepe paper tubes have higher rate of absorption of oil thus ensuring higher di-electric strength compared to conventional srbp tubes.
Features: made of electrical grade insulation crepe kraft paper. Direction of creping is transverse. Only the edge of outer layer is glued. These tubes have extremely good compatibility with liquid di-electrics. Class “a” insulation (105oc). The tube retains maximum oil due to use of crepe paper. These tubes can bend under extreme conditions without collapsing.
Availability: i.D. Starting from 2 mm. O.D./wall thickness as per specification. Standard length is 1000mm. Any length up to 2000mm available as per customer specification. Tolerances: i.D. +0.5mm. O.D. +1.0mm

YPL agro Unbleached Pulp (13 kappa) is a short fiber pulp produced from bagasse/Straw, fully cultivated and renewable northern Indian agricultural field. An extended cooking & washing process reduces conducive residual chemical in the pulp because it contains high percentage of alpha cellulose and superior bonding strength. Due to excellent pulping conditions it can be bleach easily in lower chemical consumption; also it is excellent use for wrapping grade as well as printing grade paper.
Super Deluxe is also Brown Shade Kraft Paper similar to DEP/DER, basic difference lies in the tear strength property. Super Deluxe is provided with a higher long fiber content and hence a higher strength property that improves runnability during conversion .
