Soda Feldspar
Potash Feldspar
Feldspar, any of a group of aluminosilicate minerals that contain calcium, sodium, or potassium. Feldspard make up more than half of Earth crust, and professional literature about them constitutes a large percentage of the literature of mineralogy. Of the more than 3,000 known mineral species, less than 0.1 percent make up the bulk of Earth crust and mantle. These and an additional score of minerals serve as the basis for naming most of the rocks exposed on Earth surface. Description and Identifying Characteristics Feldsparis derived from the German word feld, which means field, and spar, which means crystal. This name reflects the minerals abundance, as most crystalline material found in the field is feldspar. Potassium feldspard are the feldspar minerals in which the silicate tetrahedral and aluminum tetrahedra are bound with potassium ions, rather than sodium or calcium ions as in the plagioclase feldspar subgroup. The potassium feldspar group is composed of three mineral polymorphs, each having the same chemical composition, but slightly different crystal structures. Technically these are distinct minerals, but their physical properties are so similar that they are usually only identified as potassium feldspar in the field. Using other minerals in the rock to determine the host rocks identity is often the most useful guide to their probable identity. felsic plutonic igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks Microcline

Feldspar is a common raw material used in glassmaking, ceramics, and to some extent as a filler and extender in paint, plastics, and rubber. In glassmaking, alumina from feldspar improves product hardness, durability, and resistance to chemical corrosion. We Supply { SUPER FELDSPAR POWDER } as a Raw materiall of Ceramic Industry. Our super Feldspar powder can give upto 60 % Alkality ( Na2O + K2O }% Na2O = 33 % K2O = 27 % SiO2 = 6.25 % CaO = 1 % Al2O3 = 4.50 % Fe2O3 = 0.053
Feldspar The minerals of the feldspar group (feldspars for short) are a large group of very frequently occurring silicates with the general chemical composition (Ba,Ca,Na,K,NH4,Sr)(Al,Fe3+,B,Si)4O8. The elements indicated in parentheses can represent each other (substitution, diadochy), but are always in the same quantitative ratio to the other constituents of the mineral (substitution). Feldspar Areas of use: white cement production, ceramic production, cosmetics, glass, ceramics, welding electrodes and paint industry If requested, we can provide 220,000 tons every month from International Port Mesin Turkey FOB.
More than just a material, our potassium feldspar is a partner in your artistic journey. We are experienced company in manufacturing different metals and alloys including potassium feldspar from our own mines, the finest feldspar deposits and meticulously process them to deliver a product that consistently exceeds expectations.
Soda Feldspar refers to group of Aluminum Silicate of sodium. The chief use of Feldspar is in the Ceramic and Glass Industries. Smaller quantities are used in the manufacturing of Tiles, Whiteware, and Sanitaryware. Other uses of Feldspar include Catalysts, Acid resistant and Decorative Stone as a flux or binding agent in certain scanning Soaps and artificial teeth. In ceramic bodies, the main vitrifying (fluxing) agent is feldspar. The majority of white ware bodies contain good proportions of feldspar. It acts as a flux. In the ceramic industry, the flux is defined as that portion of the body which develops glass phase. This is provided mostly by feldspar. The amount of flux in a ceramic body should be only in such a proportion as to develop the desired amount of vitrification. If excess of flux is added, the fired body becomes very glassy and consequently, brittle. SALIENT FEATURES It acts as a flux It is the main vitrifying agent in ceramic bodies APPLICATIONS Glass and Ceramic industries are the major consumers of feldspar and account for 95% of the total consumption. Porcelain, china and earthenware Preparation of Glazes and Enamel Glass sand batch Used as a bonding agent in the manufacture of bonded abrasives like wheels and discs of garnet, corundum, emery etc.
Potash Feldspar is a naturally occuring Potassium Alumino Silicate rock occurring in pegmatite bodies. Feldspar is used as a flux in ceramic and glass industries. It also adds strength to the body. Feldspar is a rare occurrence of extremely pure mineral free from mica. The chief impurities namely clay, and other foreign matter all occur as fine bodies below one mm. It is used in many industries like Ceramics, Glass Industries, Pottery, Battery, lead-acid automotive, Beverage glass, Fluorescent light, Mirror Plate, ceramic, Polyvinylchloride (PVC) plastic pipe Sink, ceramic Television picture tube, Tile, Sanitary, bulb , tube light etc. SALIENT FEATURES Best for Ceramic & Sanitary Ware Manufacturing - Application in both Glaze (K2O > 11.5%) & Body (K2O >10.5%) â?? gives White Firing Colour. Glass Grades â?? better fluxing from K2O > 10% (total alkalies > 13%), Alumina > 17% for strength, Low Iron Fe2O3 at < 0.5%. High Potash K2O >11% for Flux coated Welding Electrodes. APPLICATIONS Wall & Floor Tiles â?? glazed Tiles, Vitrified Homogenous Tiles, Fast Firing, Third Firing. Vitreous Porcelain â?? Tableware & Other Ceramic product. Enameled Ceramics & Potteries. Technical & Advanced Ceramics. Vitrified Pipes & other Products. Frits & Glaze.

We are well geared with the latest technologies and best quarries to offer premium range of sodium feldspar enriched with the best quality minerals which will last for decades to come. Feldspar is composed of rock forming aluminum sector silicate minerals, a mixture of sodium calcium potassium or variable. Sodium Feldspar are also found in many types of sedimentary rocks. It is the single most abundant mineral found on the earthâ??s crust. Sodium Feldspar is the second most important ingredient after clay, to be used in the manufacturing of ceramic products. It allows clay and Quartz to melt and with proper mixing, facilitates modulations of ceramic products. Due to their alumina and alkali content, feldspars are most commonly used in industrial applications. Feldspars are most commonly used as a fluxing agent in ceramics and glass industry â?? which form the major consumers of feldspar with 95% of total consumption. We produce customised sizes as per clients needs. You can request sample before placing an order with us for product quality assurance. Primarily used for the fluxing properties and to lower the melting points of the body/slag, which results in significant energy cost savings. One of the best quality in India as well as in the world Na2O >10%.
