Great G Group INC coir pith, also known as coco peat, is meticulously processed to offer low electrical conductivity (EC) and effective buffering, making it ideal for various cultivation methods including greenhouses and aeroponics. With its low EC, the coir pith minimizes salt content, ensuring better nutrient absorption and healthier plant growth. The buffering enhances its pH stability and nutrient retention, providing a consistent and reliable medium for optimal root development. Rigorous quality control ensures that our coir pith meets the highest standards of purity and performance, making it a trusted choice for superior cultivation results. FOB Ontario
Coconut coir fiber generally has a golden color after cleaning and is hence, often called The Golden Fibe. Mature coir fibers are stronger than most of the other natural fibers such as cotton and flax. The coconut pith is also called peat or coconut dust. It is the material that binds together the coconut fibers in the outer shell of the coconut. Washed pith is a good choice as a growth medium in soil-less conditions for agricultural and horticultural purposes.

Coco Peat is renewable, biodegradable, and can be used as a sustainable alternative to peat moss, which is often harvested from non-renewable sources. It also has a lower carbon footprint than other growing media, as it is produced using a waste product that would otherwise go to landfill. â?? Seed starting: Coco peat is a great option for starting seeds. It provides a suitable environment for germination and seedling growth, and it is free of weed seeds and pathogens. â?? Potting mix: Coco peat can be used as a component in potting mixes. It helps to improve soil structure, drainage, and aeration, and it can hold nutrients and moisture, promoting healthy plant growth. â?? Hydroponics: Coco peat is an excellent substrate for hydroponic systems. It can hold water and nutrients and provides a stable rooting environment for plants grown without soil. â?? Mulch: Coco peat can be used as a mulch around plants to help retain soil moisture and suppress weed growth. Coco peat is also highly absorbent and can be used to absorb oils and liquids in industrial settings, such as on roads or in factories. It is a popular choice among horseback riding clubs and animal farms for its ability to absorb urine and animal residue, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment for the animals.
