Rare earth magnet
It is made of ndfeb magnetic powder and the plastic materials. Isotropic magnet which fits for complex sizes and multi-pole magnetize. It must be protected under the electroplating, the precision are high, but easy to broken and can not process to special shape.
Mainly made from Fe2O3, BaCo3 or SrCo3 metallic powders. There are two types : One is isotropic magnet and the other is anisotropic magnet.(anisotropic magnet included the dry compression and wet compression). The property included the corruptive is very high, not easy to demagnetize. The normal tolerance is +/-2%, after process, the tolerance can be +/-0.05%.
Anisotropic and isotropic rubber magnets are composite materials made of permanent magnetic powder with high polymer material by means of calendaring or extrusion. They show good magnetic properties and high sizing precision.
Injection ndfeb magnet
It is a mixture of resin (pa12, pps) & the ndfeb magnetic powder, after mix together with the additive, injective produced the magnet is called injection ndfeb magnet.
The magnets are composed of neodymium, iron, boron and a few transition metals.
Sintered ndfeb magnets are the most powerful permanent magnets available today. It has a combination of very high remanence and coercivity, and comes with a wide range of grades, sizes and shapes such as rings, blocks, discs and segments. With its excellent magnetic characteristics and abundant raw material, ndfeb magnet offers more flexibility in designing of new or replace the traditional magnet materials such as ferrite, alnico and sm-co to achieve high efficiency, low cost and more compact devices.
Ndfeb magnet is highly susceptible to corrosion and coating is always necessary. Frequently they are plated in nickel, zinc, tin and epoxy resin.
Applications from simple lightweight holding to precise engineered components and are an excellent alternative to ceramic, alnico and rare earth magnets. Specifications including cut to length, scored, die-cut or punched. They are available in a wide variety of laminates including acrylic, rubber and foam adhesives.
