POTASSIUM THIOSULPHATE Fertilizer Grade CAS No. : 10294-66-3 Molecular Formula: K2S3O3 1. The high content of potassium in potassium thiosulfate is mainly used as potassium fertilizer, and also supplemented with â??sulfurâ?? fertilizer. After application to the soil, KTS will decompose to form nearly equal amounts of thioacid salt and potassium. The plant absorbs soluble sulfur in the form of a thioester decomposition product, and the roots can absorb nutrients immediately; 2. Since sulfur is initially present in the form of thiosulfate, there is a process in the soil that is slowly eroded and oxidized by bacteria, forming a nutrient element, soluble sulfur. This provides a slow release effect for several weeks (depending on the soil and weather conditions). Formed a standard slow release effect; 3. Can be applied to the soil in various forms, but can not be directly in contact with the seeds and roots of crops, undiluted potassium thiosulfate can not be directly sprayed on the foliage of crops; 4. Potassium thiosulfate can also be used for large-area spraying of leaf surface after dilution with water; 5. Potassium thiosulfate is most often mixed with ammonium nitrate solution (ammonium nitrate solution) for horticultural crops to be sprayed on soil or used for fertilization irrigation systems
