All our kindling has been kiln dried to below 18% moisture content which will give you a long slow burn with maximum heat output and low emissions. Kiln Dried Oak is generally considered one of the very best logs and much sought after. It burns fairly slowly with nice flames and produces excellent heat even when only embers are left. It is categorised as a heavy hard wood with a deep ridged dark brown bark and rougher to the touch. Per ton of kiln dried oak it produces over 5500 kwh of energy
