Gas solding iron catalyst is placed in the combustion chamber of the gas iron, which accelerate combustion and meet temperature and environmental requiremnet. It is easy to achieve and start-up and robust enough to withstand washing in the event of external contamionation. Especially can be suit for using under high pressure, high space velocity and lowtemperature conditions. The catalyst is used in the methanation process of ammonia and hydroge plants. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide react with hydrogen from a hydrogen-enriched process gas through a methanation reaction to produce inert gas methane and water.
