Acacia Nilotica(linn) wild exdel is known as in as babul Kikar, Babur in Hindi. It is truly a multipurpose tree. Its timber is valued by rural folk, its leaves and pod are used as fodder and gum has number of uses. Almost every part of the babul tree is utilised for some purpose.
