Laminated tempered glass is also known as safety glass and can be defined as laminated glass which is broken into small but not sharp pieces in impacts . The reason for this is explained as imparting pressure stress to the outer surface of the glass and tensile stress to the middle surface. This type of glass, which is widely used in the form of glass doors and glass façades , is known as safety glass due to the fact that it does not break apart as a result of an impact and does not harm the people and objects around it.
