Gum Copal of Indonesia origin is a natural resin from Bur Sera Bipinnata plant grown on islands of Sulawesi, Ambon and Jawa. Its properties of solubility in alcohol and superior binding abilities and ability to give glossy finish makes this commodity an important source of raw material used in manufacturing of Varnish, Paints, Adhesives, Printing Ink and Perfumes.
