Llow us to introduce the new type of green tea called hakuyocha (white leaf) green tea. Above photo on the left, you see hakuyocha green tea leaf and on the right, you see our regular fukamushi(deep steamed) green tea leaf. Notice the color difference ? so is the taste. Brewed hakuyocha on the left and fukamushicha (deep steamed) green tea on the right farmers cover the plants with shade. The plants are covered completely for 20 days after 2nd leaf stage. Farmers hand pluck the leaf of hakuyocha. Hakuyocha can be cropped only for 1st plucking period. Amount of crop is 300 to 400kgs per quarter of an acre.
