The shell fraction that remains after the kernels are crushed in the palm oil mill is known as palm kernel shells. These can easily be handled in bulk right from the product line to the end user. This product is an alternative fuel (biomass) that can be used for combustion in boiler engines, such as power plants, tire industry, food & beverage industry, and other industries.
