Polypropylene is distinguished from other thermoplastics by its superiority in mechanical, thermal, electrical, physical and chemical properties. It has very good resistance to acids, organic solvents, alkalines and electrolytes, has a low moisture absorption rate, and has a light and easy to process feature. Although the water vapor barrier property of polypropylene is good, its gas and aroma permeability property is mediocre. It is a better barrier against animal fats compared to polyethylene. It can be used up to 140C.
