On November 12, Vietnamâ??s ST25 rice was awarded the worldâ??s best award after surpassing Thai and Cambodian rice at Worldâ??s Best Rice contest, organized by The Rice Trader in Manila, Philippines.
ST25 rice belongs to the ST aromatic rice line with many different varieties created and improved by engineer Ho Quang Cua (DNTN Ho Quang Tri, Soc Trang) for over 20 years. Earlier, ST24 rice also won the first prize of the Vietnam delicious rice contest held by the Vietnam Food Association (VFA) on November 4.
ST25 is the premium rice in the current rice market. Long grain rice, clear, not silver. Rice cooked with plasticity, aromatic, sweet and special flavor is very attractive. Rice is fragrant, so cook little water, the rice is flexible even though it is not turned when cooking.
