Quartz powder is a finely ground form of quartz, a naturally occurring mineral made of silicon dioxide (SiO). It is derived by crushing and grinding quartz crystals into a fine particulate form.

B grade quartz: Quartz lumps with one or more sides contaminated with iron oxidation marks, clay, etc.
1. Oversize (% by weight) using NABL calibrated test sieves of Jayant Scientific = <20%
2. Undersize (% by weight) using NABL calibrated test sieves of Jayant Scientific = <20%
3. Contamination (number) which is visually counted in terms of black and red-yellow particles in ~50 inch2 or ~324 cm2 area = <50
