Vanadium Nitrogen Alloy

Supplier From China
May-09-19

Vanadium nitrogen alloy is a new alloy additive which can replace ferro vanadium for the production of microalloyed steel.
NiV can improve the mechanical properties of steel such as strength, toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue resistance, and make the steel have good weldability.
At the same strength, use NIV can save vanadium addition20-40%,thereby reducing the cost.
NiV alloy can be used in structural steel, tool steel, pipeline steel, reinforcing bar and cast iron.
Vanadium-nitrogen alloys can be effectively microalloyed simultaneously in high strength low alloy steels to promote the precipitation of carbon, vanadium and nitrogen compounds in steels, more effectively enhance sedimentation and grain refinement

We are exporter of Ferro Vanadium.

Ferro vanadium consist of vanadium and iron, mainly used as alloys in steel-making additives, high ferro vanadium alloy is also used as a additive. Commonly used vanadium iron containing vanadium 40%, 60% and 80% of three.

Vanadium(V) shares properties with its source material. Vanadium is a chemical element with symbol V and atomic number 23. It is a hard, silvery-grey, ductile, malleable transition metal. The elemental metal is rarely found in nature, but once isolated artificially, the formation of an oxide layer (passivation) somewhat stabilizes the free metal against further oxidation Vanadium is electrically conductive and thermally insulating, and itâ??s harder than most metals and steel. It has good resistance to erosion and it is stable against alkalis and sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. It is oxidized in air at about 933 K(660 °C, 1220 °F), although an oxide passivation layer forms even at room temperature.
