The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT is a summer tyre which borrows from Dunlop's extensive knowledge in producing race tyres to provide you with motorsport level grip and braking. Dunlop have designed the SP Sport Maxx RT with intuitive compound technology that adapts to the conditions to deliver safe and responsive grip in both wet and dry conditions. The compound of the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT features polymers that conform to the contours of the road - helping to maximise the contact between the tyre and road, increasing the tyre's levels of grip. Around the shoulder of the tyre Dunlop have contructed 'Short Braking' blocks to ensure shorter braking distances when you are travelling at high speeds. When braking these blocks increase to allow more of the tyre to come into contact with the road. Keen to deliver a fuel efficient design, Dunlop have ensured the tyre is made with a lightweight construction - reducing the rolling resistance of the tyre and in turn the CO2 emissions when driving
