Cutback Bitumen ( Liquid Bitumen ) is Bitumen that is dissolved in a solvent . Typical solvents include Naptha, gasoline and kerosene, white spirit etc. The type of solvent controls the curing time while the amount determines the viscosity of the Cutback Bitumen.
The advantage Cutbacks have over Emulsions is a much higher residual Bitumen percent, typically over 80% compares with over 40-65% for Bitumen emulsions. The result is more Bitumen left on the roadway after curing, for the same volume of binder applied.
Application
Cutback bitumen’s suitable for primer sealing can also be used in the manufacture ofpre-mix asphalt, which is used in patch repairs.Cutback bitumen’s are used extensively in sprayed sealingapplications, particularly in cooler weather where theyprovide improved initial stone retention due to their

Cutback Classification
Cutbacks are divided into two classifications, Rapid-Curing (RC) and Medium-Curing (MC) depending on the solvent used. They are further defined by a number which indicates the minimum kinematic viscosity (fluidity) of the cutback.

Cutback Bitumen
Cutback Bitumen is made by reducing the viscosity of and ordinary bitumen by adding mostly petroleum-type solvent. Cutback Bitumen is used because its viscosity is lower than that of neat asphalt and can thus be used in low-temperature applications. Cutbacks are divided into three classification: Slow Curing (SC) SC-70 SC-250 SC-800 SC-3000, Medium Curing (MC) MC-30 MC-70 MC-250 MC-800 MC-3000, Rapid Curing (RC) RC-70 RC-250 RC-800 RC-3000. Laira Group offers high quality and reasonable prices, due to several years of experience in delivering Bitumen products, the Laira sales team is dedicated and understands your requirements.
Bitumen Cutback Grade
Cutback Bitumen MC-30 are used as components for road maintenance industry where it is used as a prime coat of the base course prior to placing of the bituminous surface course. Other uses include roofing as a waterproofing membrane and as an adhesive to stick chippings onto a flat, horizontal roof to minimize the effects of weathering from the sun.

We are experienced in the field of petroleum products since more than 1 decade. We are working on many products as bitumen, base oils, engine oils rubber process oil, fuels, recycled base oils & slack wax. We can supply bitumen in bulk (only on FOB /CIF basis) and packed in new steel drums or in poly bags (the last two packing types can be supplied both on FOB and cfr basis).
Although the usage of Bitumen refers to the ancient time and millenniums before BC for excellent adhesive and waterproofing, still, it has a significant impact in modern lives, construction, surfacing airfield runways, taxi tracks, waterproofing, rolling roads and highways. Today the world's demand for Bitumen accounts for more than 100 million tons per year, which is approximately 700 million barrels of Bitumen consumed annually. Applying experience gained in the industry, our highly qualified staff are backing Arij's mission to provide their customers with goods manufactured to the highest standards of Bitumen. We have established long-lasting and close partnerships with manufacturers and refiners from the gulf regions which brings us valuable complements of supplying all types and grades of Bitumen such as Penetration Grade Bitumen (Asphalt), Viscosity Grade (VG) Bitumen, Performance Grade (PG) Bitumen as well as other special types such as Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB), Bitumen Emulsion (Asphalt), Oxidized Bitumen (Blown Asphalt) and Cutback Bitumen, in any kinds of packages based on customers' requirements

Bitumen Penetration Grade 80/100 is a standard penetration grade Bitumen usually used as a Paving Grade Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties. This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses. Penetration Grade Bitumen supplied by ASI GLOBAL TRADE is petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from fractional / vacuum distillation of crude oil. The Bitumen supplied by ASI GLOBAL TRADE is produced from vacuum residue (short residue) feedstock. Penetration Grade bitumens are specified by the penetration and softening point test. Designation is by penetration range only. The penetration grade bitumens have a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This unique temperature/ viscosity relationship is important when determining the performance parameters such as the adhesion, rheology, durability and application temperatures of bitumen.
