Black Fused Alumina,also called Black Fused Aluminium Oxide, Black Aluminum Oxide, is a black color artificial corundum for abrasives. It's made of fusion of bauxite and reducing agent in electric arc furnace. Black Fused Aluminium Oxide has certain content of Ferro Oxide and Silicon Oxide, which make it looks black. Black Fused Aluminium Oxde has moderate hardness, less heat during abrasives, good strength and can be used for sand blasting, polishing, grinding of stainless steel and other non-metal surfaces.
