For use in high-performance tires, S-SBR products provide an excellent balance between wet grip, low rolling resistance, and abrasion resistance in silica and carbon black compounds. SSBR is the first choice for the production of tire compounds, particularly for summer and winter tire treads. Solution Styrene Butadinene Rubber is sometimes blended with NR, BR or ESBR to improve the properties of the final product. The materials are also used for the manufacture of high-quality industrial rubber goods. Oil Extended and Non-Oil types of SSBR in the shapes of Prime, Near to Prime and Off Grades can be supplied.
