Accepta 2051
Reverse Osmosis Membrane Scale Inhibitor / Antiscalant
High performance reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibitor
Accepta 2051 is a high performance, reverse osmosis scale inhibitor scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of reverse osmosis membranes.
Accepta 2051 offers an array of performance benefits where scale problems are encountered in RO systems.
Historically scale and deposits build up on the RO membrane leading to poor permeate quality and low permeate production, this coupled with un-planned downtime and increased water and energy costs, the result has been premature RO membrane replacement.
Accepta 2051 is a super-threshold agent delivering proven high performance against several problem scales including:
Calcium Carbonate
Calcium Sulphate
Barium Sulphate
Strontium Sulphate
Calcium Fluoride
Silica and Iron
Accepta 2051 also stabilises a wide range of super-saturated salt solutions, thereby preventing precipitation on the membrane surface.
The superior results achieved by Accepta 2051 allow engineers to design RO systems to successfully operate at higher recovery rates, giving a significant market edge.

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 2051 is dosed continuously into the feed water prior to the membrane systems at typical dose rates of 3-6 mg/L depending on water chemistry and system conditions. Our technical consultant will advise you of the correct dosage for your individual system.
It is recommended to operate the dosing pump with the highest possible frequency and to adjust the dosage by adjusting the pump stroke to ensure membrane protection.
Accepta 2051 has the added advantage of using RO permeate for dilution, with a fresh solution made every 3-5 days.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
