According to ICAO requirement, every helipad area must have at least one wind cone. Installation position must be not interfered by around object and airflow formed by helipad wing and make sure pilot can recognize wind cone at 200 meters clearly.GS-HP/W lighting direction sign is a symbol of wind and wind direction, which can be used in the daytime and at night.
